		<description>I was at one time a direct tv viewer and no longer have direct tv .  My issue with direct tv is the ridiculous thing that has been brought to my attention.  Victims of the Joplin Mo. tornado have called to cancel direct tv and have been told you will have to return the equipment or be charged 500 + wtf???? I am so glad I no longer have direct tv and would not consider becoming a customer again they are stupid....</description>

For the previous person that posted directv offers hd free for life for existing customers because I have it, and they offer Spanish tv too. You Idiot. Making statements that aren&#039;t true is considered lying. And so what my equipment is leased. When u upgraded to a hddvr I had to talk to 3 people that told me that it&#039;s leased and I signed a paper stating it&#039;s leased and that if it messes up I&#039;m responsible for the repairs just as you signed. Are you stupid and can&#039;t read. If you can&#039;t read don&#039;t sign. I am sitting here reading my lease agreement that I signed and yes there is a lot of crap in here. A lot of crap, but you signed the papers retard. Why did you sign your name? Did you think it looked pretty in that color of ink. So blaming your stupidness on someoneelse is the way to go in your house. You couldn&#039;t even sign a credit card receipt at the gas station without stating some idiotic remarks. 		<description>DirecTV is terrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. I told the person what I wanted, they placed the order incorrectly and installed incorrect equipment. I called to get it fixed and was told I would have to pay for the wrong stuff I already received AND the new stuff I was supposed to get. It had only been a couple of days since installation, so I tried to cancel, but they have a NO CANCELLATION POLICY. Once the stuff is billed, it is yours. You can pay $20/month for the rest of the contract to cancel. So, I would have paid $480 for 2 days of service, which I couldn&#039;t afford. So I kept them. Today, only 4 months in, my nearly new mint-condition receiver had a meltdown and deleted everything I had saved and erased the guide information. After 5 hours on the phone, the thing works again, but my stuff is gone forever and they won&#039;t even consider giving me a credit. Also, BE WARNED. If you accept their free 3 month trial for extra channels, they will automatically begin billing you at the end of the trial. They like to keep this little tidbit to themselves. Do not accept the trial, or be diligent about canceling, or you will get overcharged.</description>
