What is nice about this service is the innovative way it lets you handle your calls. For example, I can have it forward to my cell after business hours and to my office during business hours. You can also set up special rules based on who is calling, what time it is, etc. It can route to multiple numbers as well.

The service is great, it just turns out the unified number aspect went wrong. GC came out today and said less than 500 customers were impacted, so it looks like I am in a small, but vocal, minority.

David, invite on the way.

Hi Matt,

I'm sorry to hear that your line won't work out for you. I don't have an account yet on Grand Central, but I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. Do you have any free invites you could send?

You can port your home or mobile number to any carrier, what makes these numbers so special?

I guess thanks are in order for your beta testing this for the rest of us. ;-)
